“Floating Booms” have been Installed in Preparation for 2021 Sammamish River Salmon Run
King County Parks personnel have installed “Floating Booms” at four river access points to the Sammamish River in order to provide a stress free deep river channel for salmon migration. Dogs and people must remain in the areas of the river enclosed by the “Floating Booms”. The 5th south-most access point will be temporarily closed during this time. “Floating Booms” will be removed when river water is cooler and deeper in November. Your cooperation with these river restrictions during the Sammamish River Salmon Run is appreciated. Thanks!
